MCADD (Mountain Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependence) is committed to promoting understanding of public health issues connected to drug and alcohol dependencies through advocacy, information and referral, education, and training both to individuals struggling to access services that will help them recover and to the professional community and provider agencies in their attempts to serve the consumer.

ABOUT MCADD...

MCADD was designed specifically to serve the base of consumers with chemical use and or abuse who are being underserved by the public mental health system. MCADD represents consumers, providers, family members, and the community at large. MCADD is composed of providers, consumers, recovering individuals, law enforcement, representatives of the state, representatives of the local mental health governance, and community members.....

  • Attend a monthly board meeting
  • Join one of the sub-committees to help with a specific project
  • Join one of the sub-committees as an active member
  • Volunteer to help with one of the many activities MCADD engages in to further its mission
